Any doubts?

By default, SIAD uses cylinder valves with connections that conform with UNI standards. Valves with different connections can be supplied to order.

SIAD calibration gas mixtures can be ordered in AA6061 lightweight alloy cylinders in the following sizes: 5L, 10L, 20L, 40L and 50L.

The gas mixtures calibrated by Accredited Calibration Laboratory No. 143 and the Certified Reference Materials produced by Reference Materials Producer No. 143 are traceable to unit of measurement standards pertaining to the International System of Units (SI) and are therefore internationally valid.

The property of a measurement result or of the value of a sample such that it can be related to given references, usually national or international samples, through an unbroken chain of comparisons, all with declared uncertainty.

For all classes of calibration gas mixtures, SIAD provides a certificate indicating the concentration and uncertainty. For mixtures produced in accordance with ISO 17034, the certificate also shows the stability. All certificates comply with Accredia guidelines.

Both mixtures are metrologically traceable, but the stability of mixtures calibrated in accordance with ISO 17025 is not declared under accreditation. For mixtures produced in accordance with ISO 17034, conversely, the stability is declared under accreditation.

The SIAD Laboratory is accredited as Accredited Calibration Laboratory No. 143 in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 for the gravimetric and analytical calibration of gas mixtures and for the calibration of equipment for analytical measurement. It is also accredited as Reference Material Producer (RMP) No. 143 in accordance with ISO 17034.

SIAD can supply:

  • Gravimetric mixtures produced (CRM) or calibrated (G-CGM) in accordance with ISO 6142-1. This standard governs the gravimetric production of gas mixtures. These types of mixture have the lowest level of uncertainty;
  • Calibrated analytical mixtures (A-CGM) in accordance with ISO 6143. This standard governs the analytical calibration of mixtures and equipment. SIAD can also analytically calibrate externally filled mixtures;
  • Gravimetric mixtures produced (W-CRM) or calibrated (W-CGM) in accordance with an accredited internal method. This type of mixture is particularly suitable for customers who need metrological traceability but do not require low levels of uncertainty;
  • Calibration of instrumental equipment in accordance with ISO 6143

SIAD can supply a vast number of combinations of analytes in mixture form, provided they are listed in the accreditation tables, the requested concentration falls within the accredited range and the analytes are compatible with each other, again as set out in the accreditation table.
